About Us
Siri Saamajika Mattu Shikshana Trust
Siri Saamajika Mattu Shikshana Trust is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 in Ramanagar District, Karnataka. We are committed to bringing positive social change through our work in education, women’s empowerment, health, child rights, environmental awareness and the preservation of folk art and artists.

Our key focus is empowering women by offering vocational training and forming Self Help Groups (SHGs) that promote financial independence. We help women learn useful skills that can be practiced from home, enabling them to earn and support their families. Through SHGs, they are encouraged to save, grow their earnings and gain confidence in shaping their futures.

Our Story
Siri Trust was born out of a vision to uplift communities by addressing real and local needs. In 2006, a group of passionate individuals came together with a shared mission—to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women, children and underrepresented artists in rural Karnataka.

Over the years, our trust has trained hundreds of women in tailoring, handicrafts, and computer literacy. We’ve also supported folk artists by providing platforms to perform and preserve their traditions. From environmental campaigns to health awareness drives, every initiative we take is rooted in compassion and community empowerment.

At Siri, we believe that change begins with opportunity—and we strive to create those opportunities every day.
